Last night, our son, Ivan and his herd of Pigamooses, watched a documentary about Harry Belafonte. It was riveting. Ivan and the Pigamooses were so moved and amazed by Mr. Belafonte, his music and his great works. Our son Ivan is a huge fan of Pigamoose. And, there’s nothing that Ivan and Pigamoose like to do better than snuggle up on a Sunday morning and watch classic Muppet videos. Where Do Pigamooses Come From? – The Beginning
People often ask us: where do Pigamooses come from? It’s a great question. And, there’s a great story.
What you should know is that Pigamooses are ancient, mythical creatures. They come from a time long ago and far away. For eons they were not seen, nor heard.
What we know is that the attached photo is a photo of the first Pigamoose ever encountered by humankind. He still is with us and is considered the “Tribal Elder” by Pigamooses worldwide. I’M HOMEMADE – LIKE COOKIES!
Hi Everyone, Pigamoose here.
I was checking myself out in the mirror today and I noticed that my smile is longer on one side. I got really scared at first because I thought I was perfect!
Then I looked at my other Pigamoose friends and noticed one has more green plaid than blue; one has a tail that’s more pointy and straight; and one has more stitches on the belly than the others. Oh goodness, what is this all about? Well we’ve just been assured that we ARE perfect, each in our own special way. These little differences are what make each Pigamoose unique and special. It shows we’ve been hand-crafted for a home made look. So just like a batch of your favorite chocolate chip cookies, each Pigamoose is home made with love and no two are alike!

Mother Love
Greetings Everyone,
My name is Camille and I’m the co-founder, along with my husband, Alex, of Pigamoose, Inc. We are very excited about the launch of Pigamoose and hope you’ll enjoy our product as a new companion for the child in your life. The launch of this business coincides with the launch of our family – we are expecting our first child any day now!
While not planned, it makes sense that we embark on these two milestones simultaneously because they are both about something very special and dear to us – Mother Love. The original Pigamoose was created by Alex’s mom from scraps of fabric, her own imagination, and a loving touch. My mom also gave mother love to my brother and me with special homemade things both in our childhood and up until we were in our 30s! Everyone needs a little mother love in their lives and we hope Pigamoose’s homemade look and feel will bring that to you and your loved ones.
